Yokohama Geolandar H/T G033 Tires

The Yokohama Geolandar H/T G033 (MZ) is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles. This tire model was manufactured as the original equipment tire of select Mitsubishi and Toyota vehicles.

A lengthened service life is offered with this model. The ideal road contact of the optimal tread design enables the tire to evenly circulate the driving pressure across the tread area. The footprint’s equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking avoids irregular and premature wear. This results in the tire’s better tread life and longer usability.

Excellent handling is also promoted with this tire model. The maintained road contact of the footprint helps to enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability at all times. This enables the tire to increase the structural stability against the driving pressure affecting the tire. On the other hand, it also boosts the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands. The shoulder block placement provides additional biting edges in order to firmly grip the road during maneuvering. This results in the tire’s secure cornering capability.

The tread design’s variable pitch phase shift offers a quiet driving experience. This pattern generates a special sound-cancelling frequency which effectively negates the sound waves created during the drive. The tire lowers the road noise levels reaching the vehicle’s cabin, promoting a comfortable driving experience throughout the drive.

The Yokohama Geolandar H/T G033 (MZ) offers a secure year round traction. The asymmetric tread design and all season compound greatly boost the dry, wet, and winter weather performance. This allows the tire to greatly improve the grip on the road surface, with the use of extra biting edges. Additionally, the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. Circumferential and open shoulder grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet conditions.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
