Trailer Master TM18 Tires
The Trailer Master TM18 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This model should not be mounted on light trucks.
The symmetric tread pattern and the all season compound optimize the tire’s year-round performance. The exceptional performance is guaranteed with the combination of the tread design and the all season compound. Dry, wet, and winter grip is ensured. The rubber compound keeps the tire pliable in changing temperatures. The wide grooves prevent hydroplaning as they help guide water and slush throughout the footprint, increasing the tire’s wet grip.
The model offers great load and driving durability. The strengthened internal structure and the durable compound upgrade the load capacity. The structure does not allow the tire to deform under load and driving pressure. This improves the tire’s overall load durability, which enables the tire to securely carry and withstand larger loads. The result is a strong load capacity.
The Trailer Master TM18’s close road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and towing stability. The tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The outer ribs and their close road contact enhance its cornering and maneuvering, ensuring safer handling, as the tire guarantees a secure performance.
This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
