TBC Grand Spirit Touring L/X Tires

The TBC Grand Spirit Touring L/X is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles. It has some high performance sizes as well. TBC offers an 85,000 mile treadwear warranty with the T speed rated sizes, a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with the H and V speed rated sizes and a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the W speed rated sizes. This offer is for new tires only.

The tire uses its asymmetric tread pattern to lengthen the usability. The asymmetric ribbed tread design and their surface contact ensure a balanced pressure distribution along the tread area. These elements equally spread out the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking while the tires are in motion. In this manner, the tire actively combats premature and irregular wear formations, greatly lengthening the usability and tread life.

The asymmetric tread design enhances the controllability. The asymmetric pattern’s three center ribs maintain the road surface contact throughout the drive. This enables the tire to keep the surface contact at all times, which boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This allows the tire to be faster and more precise in its steering, while the structure is also stabilized during the drive. The shoulder’s long lateral grooves help to reduce the braking distance. They create friction between the tire and the road surface, which further boosts the braking power. The shoulder block placement upgrades the cornering capability. They create friction between the tire and the road surface during maneuvering, promoting a safer driving experience.

The TBC Grand Spirit Touring L/X enhances the all weather traction. The all season, silica compound and the asymmetric tread design increase the dry, wet and winter weather grip. These tread elements provide a higher number of biting edges to grip the road surface during maneuvering. The compound’s optimized rubber elements keep the flexibility in different temperatures, greatly enhancing the driving safety levels. The tread’s circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as they disperse water and slush from below the footprint.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
