Taskmaster TTT888 Tires

The Taskmaster TTT888 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is not meant to be mounted on light trucks.

The model features a reinforced bias-ply construction. In this manner, the tire utilizes the reinforced internal structure in order to improve the load capacity. The bias-ply structure keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure, by carrying and withstanding heavy loads. As a result, the tire improves the load capacity throughout the performance.

The tire promotes safer handling during the drive. The footprint’s ideal ribbed tread block placement upgrades the road contact at all times. In this manner, the tire enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire has a quicker and more precise steering response, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The optimal shoulder block pattern utilizes its siping placement to generate additional biting edges. These enhance the cornering and maneuvering ability, greatly improving the towing capability at all times.

The TTT888 upgrades the all weather traction. The all season compound and the detailed tread design enhance the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The stronger compound elements improve the rubber flexibility in summer and winter conditions. The siping pattern and the block placement upgrade the surface grip with additional biting edges. The groove placement avoids hydroplaning by channeling water and slush from the footprint. This enhances the wet weather performance.

This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.

The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
