Pirelli P Zero Rosso Asimmetrico Tires
The Pirelli P Zero Rosso Asimmetrico is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire upgrades the summer weather performing ability. The silica-based compound elements and the asymmetric tread design’s surface contact improve the grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The tread elements of the asymmetric pattern improves the surface grip with additional biting edges, while the compound’s silica elements avoid heat build-up and keep the tire cool during its performance. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water from the footprint, greatly boosts the wet weather performing capability.
The curved grooves along the tread area allow the tire to minimize the road and tread pattern noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The tread design manages to channel airwaves through the footprint, avoiding allowing their contact with the tread elements. In this manner, the tire prevents the formation of soundwaves, guaranteeing a quiet performance. As the road disturbances do not ruin the passengers’ driving enjoyment, promoting a comfortable driving experience.
The asymmetric tread design upgrades the controllability. The tread design with the semi-slick center rib maintains the road contact, which enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. On the other hand, the shoulder tread block placement provides additional biting edges which firmly grips the road surface with additional biting edges. This results in the driver’s better control over the vehicle.
The Pirelli P Zero Rosso Asimmetrico upgrades the high speed durability. The strengthened PenTech cord reinforcement of the steel belt structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the high speed pressure. This allows the tire to securely perform at high speeds throughout their performance, without the tire’s deformation.
This tire model was manufactured as the second approved original equipment tire of select Porsche vehicles.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
