The Pirelli Cinturato P1 Run Flat is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles. This model has some touring sizes as well.
The tire is a run flat model. That means its strengthened internal structure enables the tire’s limited temporary performance in case of air pressure loss. In other words, the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph. In this manner, the vehicle is not stranded on the side of the road. Instead, it can be driven to a nearby location where the damaged tire can be fixed or changed. This allows the tire to promote a safer performance.
