Michelin X Multi T2 Tires
The Michelin X Multi T2 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model was designed for the trailer axle.
This model promotes superb year-round performance. The symmetric ribbed tread design and all season compound work together in order to increase the tire’s overall surface grip. Dry, wet, and winter weather do not pose an issue for this tire. Hydroplaning is also avoided, as the evolving grooves channel water and slush from the footprint. These grooves are evolving as they change shape with the tread wear, keeping the tire’s excellent traction at all times.
The footprint and durable compound greatly improve the tire’s usability. Even pressure circulation along the stable footprint helps combat irregular wear. On the other hand, the wear-resistant compound greatly decreases the wear rate. This combination lengthens the tread life. Additionally, the solid shoulder ribs, their higher rubber volume, and the groove placement protect the tread and casing from damage. They resist the tread’s chipping, tearing, and cracking, while stone retention is also prevented.
The Michelin X Multi T2 boosts its load durability. The special 4-steel belt structure and the robust crown increase the tire’s safety. These improvements do not allow the tire to deform under load and driving pressure, upgrading its overall load-carrying capacity.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
