Michelin LTX A/S Tires
The Michelin LTX A/S is a highway terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks.
The tire improves all weather traction. The all season compound and the optimal tread pattern increase the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The all season compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, optimizing the year round performance. On the other hand, the tread pattern with the Stress Equilibrium Construction Technology optimizes the stress distribution along the tread area. This enables the tire to upgrade the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet weather performing capability.
The model was manufactured with the EnergySaver Construction, which helps to offer a fuel efficient performance. This construction helps to evenly distribute the driving pressure, avoiding heat build-up and minimizing the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the model which determines the vehicle’s necessary fuel intake in order to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance enables the tire to significantly reduce the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. As a result, the tire guarantees a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The tire enhances the controllability as well. The tread design’s surface contact and the stronger internal structure improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
