Michelin Defender LTX M/S Tires
The Michelin Defender LTX M/S is a touring and highway, all season tire made to be mounted on passenger vehicles, SUVs and light trucks. It has a 50-70,000 mile warranty. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional vehicles.
The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The specialized 3D siping detail of the tread design manages to find great road grip in dry, wet and winter weather road conditions. The wide circumferential and lateral grooves and the open shoulder slots actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The tire’s firm grip on the road surface and better hydroplaning resistance ensure a safer driving experience all year.
The tire’s lighter weight construction manages to lower the rolling resistance, which determines the vehicle’s energy usage. The decreased rolling resistance reduces the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions greatly. The result is an environmentally friendly and fuel efficient driving experience. The lower rolling resistance also slows down the tread wear rate. This, along with the Evertread compound, improves the length of the tread life. The specialized computer optimized tread design manages to decrease the road noise levels heard while the tires are in motion.
