Kenda K505 Tires
The Kenda K505 is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The optimal tread design keeps the surface contact all the time. As a result, it increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. On the other hand, the optimal tread elements and strong grip boost cornering and maneuvering. This offers a safe driving experience, making sure the driver has full control over the vehicle.
The model extends its overall service life and usability. This tread design can evenly distribute driving pressure, while the compound decreases the treadwear rate. This combination works together to resist irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. As a result, by combining the tread design and the wear-resistance compound, the model guarantees a longer-lasting tread life.
The Kenda K505 also offers a turf-friendly performance. This detailed tread enables the tire’s traction without harming the turf surface. They promote the model’s soft traction to guarantee great contact between the tire and the turf surface, which does not damage the grass field. This makes the tire perfect for lawnmowers.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
