Kenda K357 Tires
The Kenda K357 is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The optimal tread design can keep forward motion on soft, loose, and uneven terrain surfaces. At the same time, this tread eliminates mud, snow, and rocks from the footprint. This boosts surface contact during its overall off-road performance. This consistent surface contact improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering and maneuvering are also upgraded with this tread design, guaranteeing excellent controllability.
The reinforced internal structure and damage-resistant compound maintain the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. This model promotes excellent heavy-duty performance. The stronger construction does not allow the tire to deform, enabling it to carry and withstand heavy loads. At the same time, the rubber compound provides excellent damage resistance, which protects the tire against punctures, cuts, and tearing along the tread area.
The Kenda K357 also provides great all weather traction. The all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in warm and cold temperatures, while the tread design follows the surface in versatile weather conditions. As a result, these elements boost dry, wet, and winter weather traction, offering a safe performance throughout the year.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
