Ironman iMOVE GEN2 SUV Tires
The Ironman iMOVE Gen2 SUV is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles.
The tire offers exceptional all weather traction and road gripping ability thanks to the asymmetric tread design and improved tread block and siping geometry. The specially placed circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from beneath the tire footprint, which enhances the wet weather traction as well. The result is a safer year round driving experience.
The specialized, larger road contact area features a continuous center rib that ensures constant road contact which improves the tire’s driving stability, steering responsiveness and cornering ability. The large shoulder tread blocks promote boosted cornering by providing additional biting edges. The steering is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it, making the drive safer.
The Ironman iMOVE Gen2 SUV offers a longer lasting tread. The new, stronger compound is wear resistant, in other words, is slows the tread wear rate down significantly. Other than this, the tire also evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area, which prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread. The longevity of the even tread ensures an extended tire life and usability.
This tire model was manufactured as the original equipment tire of select Ford vehicles.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
