Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar EMT Tires
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar EMT (OE) is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles. This is an OE as it is the original equipment of select vehicles. This tire is for the front axle position.
Summer weather traction is promoted with the tread design and durable compound. The asymmetric pattern’s ideal elements allow the tire to increase the grip on the road surface, while the durable compound’s rubber materials prevent heat build-up. Additionally, the wider groove pattern avoids hydroplaning by dispersing water from the footprint, further boosting the wet traction. This combination results in a secure summer weather application.
The Extended Mobility Technology allows the tire to be driven on after air pressure loss. This technology strengthens the structure, enabling the tire’s limited temporary (50 mile, 50 mph) performance in case of a puncture or some other damage. This allows the vehicle to safely arrive at a nearby location, where the damaged tire can be taken care of.
The tire’s race-inspired ribbed tread design maintains the surface contact at all times, upgrading the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire offers excellent steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The larger outer shoulder blocks help to upgrade the cornering ability with the use of extra biting edges, improving the tire’s overall maneuvering capability.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar EMT (OE) increases the high speed durability. The reinforced twin steel belt structure and the heat-resistant compound enable the tire to enhance the high speed performance. The structure does not deform under the high speed pressure, while the compound eases pressure off the footprint. This combination enables the tire’s secure performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
