Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric Tires

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric (LR) is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This specific tire is marked with LR as it is the original equipment of Land Rover vehicles. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional vehicles.

The tire offers excellent high speed durability. This exceptional high speed performance is guaranteed with the internal structure’s strengthened twin steel belts. They maintain the ideal tire shape under high speed pressure. As the tire does not deform during its performance, the structure is able to improve the tire’s high speed performing durability.

The carbon black and silica compound and the asymmetric tread design increase the dry and wet traction. The compound blend actively avoids heat build-up along the footprint, minimizing the pressure affecting the tire during its performance. The tread design’s surface contact upgrades the surface grip in summer temperatures. The circumferential grooves disperse water from below the tire’s footprint, optimizing the surface contact and resisting hydroplaning.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric (LR) upgrades the controllability. The polymer-enhanced compound and the stronger tread stiffness improve the surface contact while the tires are in motion. This greatly increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This allows the tire to be quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The outer shoulder blocks and the Active CornerGrip work together to boost the cornering ability. They upgrade the maneuvering capability, resulting in the driver’s better control over the vehicle throughout the performance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
