Dunlop Grandtrek ST20 Tires

The Dunlop Grandtrek ST20 is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles.

The tire can provide a quiet and comfortable drive. The tread is designed with a five-pitch sequence that lowers the road and tread pattern noise generated during the drive. This sequence creates a sound frequency that negates the soundwaves at the moment they are generated, before they can reach the vehicle’s cabin. The road pattern noise is reduced by the internal structure’s Dimensionally Stable Polyester casing and special bead apex. This construction also ensures a closer surface contact, enabling the tire to absorb the shock of driving, which reduces the vibrations felt by the passengers. These factors guarantee a quiet and pleasant drive.

The tire ensures smooth handling in all weather conditions. Road contact throughout the drive is ensured by the tread’s center rib pattern and rounded shoulders. This center tread area improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability due to the constant surface contact. The model is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The cornering and maneuvering ability are enhanced by the rounded shoulder detail. A higher level of safety is ensured by the increased number of biting edges that grip the road during the model’s maneuvering.

The Grandtrek ST20 guarantees great traction in all weather conditions. The dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability is enhanced by the combination of the symmetric tread design and the all season compound. The tread design upgrades the grip on the road surface all year, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in different temperatures. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. These factors ensure a higher level of safety in various weather conditions.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
