Continental VanContact A/S Tires

The Continental VanContact A/S is a highway terrain, all season tire designed for commercial vans, light trucks, and SUVs.

The ideal tread pattern and the all season compound improve the tire’s year-round traction. The optimized tread pattern closely follows the road surface at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in warm and cold temperatures. The symmetric tread pattern and the all season compound improve the tire’s dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. At the same time, the optimized grooves on the tread area eliminate water and slush from the footprint in order to resist hydroplaning.

Excellent controllability and driving stability are provided with this tire. The symmetric tread design and the durable rubber compound keep road contact at all times. These elements increase steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire’s steering response time is quicker and more precise to the driver’s instructions, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure. Cornering and maneuvering are improved as well. This combination ensures a secure performance, while the driver has full control over the vehicle.

The Continental VanContact A/S boosts its load and driving durability. The reinforced internal structure and the durable rubber compound keep the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under pressure, it can easily carry and withstand heavy loads. The heavy-duty performance makes this model perfect for commercial vans.

This tire model was manufactured as the original equipment tire of select Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
