Continental HSR2 SA Tires
The Continental HSR2 SA is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. The model was made to be mounted on all axle positions, but it is recommended for the steer axle.
The tire ensures excellent all weather performance by using the symmetric tread design and the all season compound. This combination allows the tire to increase the grip on the road surface, optimizing the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The stronger compound elements allow the tire to improve the rubber flexibility in summer and winter weather conditions. The siping placement enhances the number of biting edges utilized to improve the traction. The wider circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a secure wet weather performance. This combination ensures a safer driving experience.
The model enhances the usability with the symmetric tread design and the stronger compound elements. The symmetric tread’s surface contact allows the tire’s even pressure circulation. The balanced pressure distribution across the tread area enables the tire to combat irregular wear formations. The stronger compound elements minimize the treadwear rate, using wear-resistant compound materials, boosting the length of the usability. The slower and even wear increases the tire’s service life.
The Continental HSR2 SA upgrades the controllability, as the tread’s better road contact increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The optimal siping detail and the solid shoulder rib enhance the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This combination greatly upgrades the driver’s control over the vehicle throughout the performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
