Carlisle Road Roller Tires
The Carlisle Road Roller is an all season tire made for industrial vehicles. This tire is designed for road paving, compaction, material handling and mining applications.
The tire’s service life is extended to a significant extent by the simple, yet highly efficient tread design. The tread is completely smooth, ensuring a flat footprint when a heavy load is applied. While the tire maintains its forward motion, it also uniformly distributes the driving pressure. This slows down tread wear and keeps it even throughout its operating lifespan.
This model is made of a special compound that boasts a high level of durability. It is further reinforced by heat-resistant nylon fabric belts that reduce the heat generated under pressure. It also comes with a strengthened sidewall that resists flexing during heavy-duty industrial applications. The point is to ensure that the tire keeps its optimal shape while it deals with big load and driving pressure.
The Carlisle Road Roller is specially designed for stability with its smooth tread. As the tire is pressed against the ground surface, the tread becomes completely flat. At that point, it equally distributes load and driving pressure, stabilizing the tire and the whole vehicle. This way, maneuvering becomes easier, as the tire ensures faster and more precise steering responses. This largely contributes to safety during heavy-duty industrial operations.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Due to the acquisition by Carlstar Tires, Carlisle tires are now manufactured under the Carlstar banner. For this reason, some Carlisle tires might come with the Carlstar brand name stamped on their sidewalls.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
