Carlisle PXT2 Tires
The Carlisle PXT2 is an all terrain, all season tire created for ATVs and UTVs.
The tire has a tread pattern that provides enough biting edges to establish traction in various off-terrain conditions. The center of the tread consists of arrowhead-shaped blocks that face each other, forming a zigzag void pattern. Together with the elevated shoulder blocks, they can easily establish traction, even in deep mud or loose dirt. The tire has a self-cleaning ability due to the high void ratio that eliminates dirt, rocks, and snow from the footprint.
The elevated shoulder blocks and the arrow-shaped center blocks together form a flat footprint that enhances stability. It allows the driver to steer the vehicle more comfortably, quickly, and precisely. Despite its narrow tread, this tire boasts a high level of structural stability. This adds a sense of safety to the overall driving experience, which is very important in difficult off-road situations.
The Carlisle PXT2’s special 6-ply construction enhances the tire’s durability and enables it to provide high performance even if the load is bigger. It is designed to minimize the chances of any deformation happening under the load or driving pressure. This makes the overall driving experience much safer, as the tire itself won’t endanger the driver’s life during a race. The pressure is evenly circulated along the tread due to the tire’s design, easing it off.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
When it comes to ATV tires, there might be slight visual differences between brands and models even if the tires are of the same size.
NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE: This tire model is not DOT-approved for highway use.
Due to the acquisition by Carlstar Tires, Carlisle tires are now manufactured under the Carlstar banner. For this reason, some Carlisle tires might come with the Carlstar brand name stamped on their sidewalls.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
