Atlas Tire Legend UHP Tires
The Atlas Tire Legend UHP is a high performance, all season tire made to be mounted on passenger vehicles. The tire is available in a wide range of sizes, from 16 to 19 inch rim diameters.
The asymmetrical tread pattern provides good road to tire contract ratio as it optimizes the tire’s footprint. This prevents irregular wear across the tread area, extending the tread life and shortening the braking distance. The longer lasting tread and better braking distance and power improve the tire’s safety in all weather conditions. The tire has excellent road grip in dry, wet and winter weather. The wide tread grooves eliminate water from below the tire footprint, which prevents hydroplaning in deeper water.
The special shoulder tread design improves the handling. The tire is effortlessly controlled as its steering responsiveness and precision are increased with the better road grip the shoulder tread provides. The Atlas Tire Legend UHP also features rim protectors that guard the rims from curb damage.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
