Dunlop Winter Maxx Tires
The Dunlop Winter Maxx is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles.
Winter weather traction is promoted with the durable compound and the detailed tread elements. Nano-Fit compound elements allow the tire to maintain its rubber flexibility even in freezing temperatures. Detailed sipes along the tread area firmly grips the road, optimizing the winter weather, ice and snow traction. Circumferential grooves and lugs prevent hydroplaning as they disperse water and slush from the footprint.
The tread elements of the asymmetric tread design help to enhance the controllability. The optimized footprint’s road contact increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability, ensuring the driver’s better control over the vehicle. Larger shoulder blocks help to increase the cornering ability, as the extra biting edges improve the overall maneuvering capability. Stronger structure with the twin steel belts and the Jointless Band Technology’s spirally wrapped nylon cord keep the ideal tire shape at all times. As the tire does not deform, it is able to significantly improve durability.
The Dunlop Winter Maxx also helps to improve usability. The Maxx Sharp Edge with the Miura-Ori sipes stabilize the tread blocks. This enables the tire to evenly circulate the driving pressure across the tread area, avoiding irregular and premature wear. A longer lasting service life is guaranteed with the tread’s slow and even wear.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
