Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2 ROF Tires

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2 Left ROF is a high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles.

The tire was manufactured with a run flat technology, which enables the tire to optimize its performance and safety. The stronger internal structure allows the tire to securely withstand the weight of the vehicle and its passengers in case of air pressure loss. Once air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or other damage, the tire can still be driven for 50 miles up to 50 mph. Due to their heavier internal structure, run flat tires should not be mounted on the same vehicle as regular tires.

The summer compound and the ideal tread design upgrade the summer weather performance. The race-like compound effectively prevents heat build-up along the tread area, while the asymmetric tread design’s elements optimize the dry and wet weather surface grip. The tread’s special aqua-channel grooves avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water from below the footprint.

The special mold shape and the asymmetric, directional tread design improve the handling and the performing ability. The tread helps to maintain the surface contact with the outer shoulder blocks to boost the cornering ability and power. The multi-radius mold shape’s constant road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The reinforced high-tensile steel belt structure with the spirally wrapped nylon cords improves the high speed performing ability, enabling the tire to securely perform at its best high speed ability.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2 Left ROF features an asymmetric directional tread design. This pattern prevents the tire from being used on both sides of the vehicle. The asymmetric, directional pattern needs to be mounted on a specific side of the vehicle in order to function correctly.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
