Hi-Run H180 Tires

The Hi-Run H180 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is not designed to be mounted on light trucks.

The symmetric tread pattern increases steering responsiveness and towing stability. This results in quick and precise steering responses, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. In this manner, the structure helps to effectively avoid trailer swaying, further boosting its overall driving safety levels.

The robust structural elements and the durable compound improve the tire’s load capacity. The tire does not deform under load and driving pressure. By maintaining its ideal shape, the tire’s load capacity is improved, making this model ideal for heavy-duty applications.

The optimal tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area. The special silica compound decreases the treadwear rate. This slow and even wear ensures a longer-lasting tread life. In other words, these elements resist irregular and premature wear, boosting the tire’s usability.

The Hi-Run H180’s tread design utilizes variable tread elements to lower the road and tread noise heard by the passengers. The sound frequency generated during the drive helps the tire prevent sound waves from reaching the vehicle’s cabin. This results in a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

The ideal tread design and the all season compound work together to boost dry, wet, and light winter-weather performance. The all season compound keeps the tire pliable even in colder temperatures, while the detailed tread design ensures a firm road grip. Hydroplaning is prevented thanks to the groove placements, which channel water and slush away from below the tire. This ensures the tire’s safe year-round performance.

This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.

The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
