Hi-Run H187 Tires

The Hi-Run H187 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This model should not be mounted on light trucks.

The model promotes perfect performance on highway terrains. The ribbed tread pattern firmly grips the road surface with additional biting edges. This enables the tire to keep constant contact with the driving surface. As a result, the tire’s steering responsiveness and towing stability are upgraded. The tire becomes faster and more precise to the towing vehicle’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering and maneuvering are upgraded as well.

Excellent all weather traction is offered with this tire. The model manages to perform easily even in dry, wet, and winter conditions. This tread pattern keeps the road contact at all times, while the all season compound maintains flexibility in changing temperatures. At the same time, the optimized grooves protect the tire against slipping in wet conditions. These grooves prevent hydroplaning and ensure safe performance in wet situations.

The robust internal structure and the durable rubber compound upgrade the tire’s load and driving durability. These elements manage to keep the optimal tire shape even under large loads. As a result, the tire is able to carry and withstand heavy loads. This increases the tire’s load-carrying capacity and handling power. These elements make this model perfect for trailer applications.

The Hi-Run H187 extends its service life. The ribbed tread pattern evenly distributes the driving pressure, preventing pressure accumulation on sensitive tread areas. Additionally, the special silica compound reduces the treadwear rate. These elements avoid irregular and premature wear formations for longer-lasting tread life.

This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.

The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
