Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus RFT Tires
The Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus RFT (NR1) is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This specific tire is marked with NR1 as it is the original equipment of Nissan vehicles.
The tire boosts the all season traction with the stronger compound and the detailed tread design. This combination enhances the dry, wet, and winter weather traction. In this manner, the tire is able to boost the rubber flexibility and it greatly upgrades the grip on the road surface. The optimal groove placement avoids hydroplaning as well, since they disperse water and slush from below the footprint.
Better controllability and maneuvering enhance the surface contact with the ideal tread design. As a result, the tire boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This promotes exceptional steering response time and accuracy, while the structural stability is secured as well. The shoulder block placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, upgrading the cornering and maneuvering capability.
This is a run flat model. It features a reinforced internal structure, which enables the tire’s limited, temporary performance after air pressure loss. Once air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or some other damage, it can still be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. Run flat tires should not be mounted on the same vehicle with regular tires, due to the difference in the tire’s weight.
The better traction and the durable compound ease the driving pressure off the tire. This significantly lowers the rolling resistance, which is the pressure that determines the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. The rolling resistance is effectively decreased, which guarantees a fuel efficient and environmentally conscious driving experience.
The Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus (NR1) RFT also boosts its usability. The tread design and the stronger compound enhance the tread life length. They work together in order to effectively combat irregular and premature wear formations. This combination greatly improves the tire’s overall service life.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
